(3) Because of the rapid heat dissipation of metal mold, the minimum wall thickness of stainless steel casting should be larger than that of sand mold casting
( 4) Generally, the thickness of the inner wall and the inner rib of the casting should be 0.6-0.7 of the thickness of the connecting outer wall. Otherwise, due to the slow cooling of the inner wall (rib), cracks are easy to occur at the junction of the inner wall and the outer wall when the casting shrinks.
